Second Cup Reviews

I ordered through Second Cup and had a little mix-up with my pickup time, so I called the store just to double-check. The person on the phone was really polite about it, didn’t sound annoyed, didn’t rush me, didn’t make it awkward, and just helped sort it out like it was no problem at all.
When I got there, my order was ready, the counter area was busy, people were waiting, drinks were being made, phones were going, and the staff still stayed calm and professional. The person at the counter was friendly, quick, and organized, which I appreciated. Overall it was a smooth experience, and I’d definitely order from them again.

I stopped in for coffee before work and, to be fair, they had it ready really fast. The line was moving quickly too, which I definitely appreciated. I know places can get busy in the morning, but it’s nice when you’re not stuck waiting forever like at some other spots.

One of the items in my order wasn’t what I asked for, which was a bit annoying. That said, the rest was fine, so I don’t want to make it sound worse than it was. Not a terrible experience, just a mix-up that should probably be double-checked next time...

Second Cup is convenient because there’s usually one close to my office, so I do end up going. But the experience is hit or miss depending on the location. Some are fine, and others feel way below what you’d expect, so I think a simple apology for the inconsistency wouldn’t hurt.

I mostly use the Second Cup app for the rewards, it’s been worth it. The points add up over time, and who doesn’t like getting a free drink once in a while? The birthday offer was a nice little bonus too.
The only thing that bugs me is that the app can be slow to update points sometimes. Is it the end of the world? No, but it’s a little annoying when you’re checking right after buying something. Still, the rewards definitely make me pick Second Cup more often than I used to

I’ve stopped at a few Second Cup spots in different areas and it’s been consistant. The coffee tastes the same each time, the staff are usually friendly, and the cafes are clean enough. It’s nice when you kinda know what you’re getting

I really liked the vibe here. It’s cozy without being too quiet, and the lighting makes the whole place feel super comfortable. it’s the kind of spot where I could settle in and happily hang out for hours

I stopped in for a bit and it was a solid spot to plug in. The Wi-Fi worked fine, and I didn’t have to hunt around for an outlet, which is always a plus.

I’ll give them credit: the store really is clean every time I stop in. The tables were wiped down, the floors looked good, and it was actually nice to sit there for a bit. i wish every place managed to keep things this tidy

I just ordered from Second Cup recently, it left a good impression. I don’t do dairy, so I was happy to see plant-based milk options and a few snacks I could actually have without overthinking it. The online ordering was easy too, which made the whole thing feel way less stressful. After this last visit, I’m definitely feeling better about going back.

I use the Second Cup app often, and for the most part it works well. Ordering is simple, and the rewards are easy to find, though sometimes I’m not totally sure if I’m doing everything the right way. Still, I haven’t really had any major issues with it

I stopped by sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and tried a muffin and a croissant. The muffin tasted fresh and was good, but the croissant was kind of dry. Not terrible, just not something I’d go out of my way to get again.

Some mornings the app works totally fine, then other times my order just sits there or shows up late... the coffee itself is good, I just don't really trust ordering ahead anymore

I’d give Second Cup 4 stars, mainly because the prices feel about right to me. I kind of already expected it to be a bit more expensive than grabbing coffee somewhere super basic, and that’s pretty much what I found. It’s not the cheapest, but the quality and portion sizes make it feel fair. If you start adding extras, the drinks can get pricey fast, which just confirmed what I figured going in. But for regular coffee and a snack, it’s reasonable enough. Overall, decent value and I didn’t feel shocked at the checkout.

I’ve always had it in my head that Second Cup is a reliable spot for coffee, my last few orders kind of proved that again. I got delivery a few times and did takeout once last week, and the coffee was good every time. It even showed up still warm, which is basically all I’m asking for with delivered coffee.

The delivery wasn’t perfect-perfect, since one order came maybe 10 minutes later than the first estimate, but I wasn’t too bothered. I already expected it to be decent, so that didn’t really change my mind much. The bag was packed properly, nothing spilled, and everything looked like someone actually paid attention.

For takeout, the staff had my order ready quickly, which again fit with what I usually think of them. One muffin was a little dry, but I’m not going to make a huge deal out of it because the rest was solid. I’d order again for sure, feels like a fair 4 stars to me

I grabbed an espresso and a latte from Second Cup, and yeah, it was disappointing. The espresso had that burnt, super sharp taste, like the shot was either pulled wrong or just sat there too long. It was hard to enjoy, honestly.

The latte was a little better, but still not great. The milk was way too hot, there was barely any foam, and the whole thing just tasted kind of flat. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just a decent coffee, but it felt really rushed

the washroom was actually clean, like no weird smells or anything. Was kinda impressed tbh.

They’ve got coffee, snacks, and cold drinks on the menu, so I can pretty much always find something I’m in the mood for. Tbh, it’s nice having that many choices every time.

I still like stopping by Second Cup for drinks, but the food can be inconsistent. Some days the muffins or sandwiches are totally fine, and other times they taste like they’ve been sitting around a bit too long. It’s not awful, just not something I’d count on being fresh every time. I’ve also gotten the usual canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type response before, which doesn’t really help much when the issue keeps happening. I’d still go back, but mostly for coffee, not the food.

I usually check Second Cup whenever the seasonal drinks come out, around that time of year. The pumpkin latte and the holiday drinks are great, and they’re not overly sweet, at least for my taste. Ordering through the site was easy too, took maybe just a few minutes
